Before you begin making your veil you will want to be sure you have all the
supplies on hand so you won't be running back and forth to the store or waiting
for something to arrive from an online purchase.
In this series, I explain how to make your own veil with a blusher
and a comb attached. Here's what you will need for that:
Material, which is called tulle, netting, or Bridal
Illusion
Paper to make a pattern. Any large paper will do
(such as wrapping paper)
Non-porous surface to work with glue on, such as a glass cutting
board
Pencil
Scissors
Toothpicks or straight pins to apply glue
Fabric glue. (Note:
Aleene's Fabric Fusion dries clear and has a firm hold, and dry
cleanable.
Plastic veil comb
Quilting or craft needle
Heavy-duty thread the same color as your veil
Tape measure
Straight pins
Embellishments such as beads, crystals, pearls, sequins,
flowers, or other decoration (optional)
Edging or trim (optional)
